1. Summary

delaycheck.eu processes as little data as possible. The checker and the claim letter run entirely in your browser. Your entries are not sent to us and not stored. We use no cookies, no local storage, no analytics or tracking tools, no ad networks and no fonts or scripts from third-party servers.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system, and the status code. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and stable operation. ⟦Speicherdauer der Logfiles in tools/site.config.js eintragen⟧

4. Checker and claim letter

All calculations take place locally on your device. If you create a claim letter from your result, the flight details are passed in the fragment of the address (the part after the # sign). Browsers do not send this part to the server, and it is removed from the address bar once the page has loaded.

5. Links to other websites and affiliate links

Our pages contain links to authorities, dispute resolution bodies and claims companies. When you follow these links, you leave our website. Only then does the respective provider process data under its own responsibility.

Some links to claims companies are labelled as affiliate links. After a click, the provider or an affiliate network may set cookies on their website to attribute the referral. We do not receive any personal data about you, only a statement of referred orders. Please see the providers’ privacy policies for details.

6. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your address and message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or (b) for contractual matters. We delete the data once the enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please contact the email address above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
